L. Prang & Co. print of the painting "Hancock at Gettysburg" by Thure de Thulstrup, showing Pickett's Charge. Restoration by Adam Cuerden. This is a retouched picture, which means that it has been digitally altered from its original version. Modifications: This image, like many Thulstrup prints, was done on vellum, with a characteristic dappling effect when the light of the LoC's scan reflects off the dimples from the hair pores on the right and left edges. This is a highly distracting effect that required a fair bit of cleanup. Also, levels adjustments, etc.. N.B. No other files: They're too large to upload.
