Historische Übersicht

Der Giftgasangriff auf Halabdscha war ein Angriff der Irakischen Luftwaffe auf die hauptsächlich von Kurden bewohnte irakische Stadt Halabdscha in der heutigen autonomen Region Kurdistan. Bei dem Angriff, der am 16. März 1988 gegen Ende des Ersten Golfkriegs stattfand, starben zwischen 3200 und 5000 Menschen.
